Dry, Burning Eyes?

In the many years I have treated dry eye, the current treatments I have been using, are working very well. Besides the traditional use of artificial tears, there are, now, new medications and procedures available to help increase to quantity and quality of the tears over the surface of the eye. Reversible, tears duct occlusion, with tear preservation plugs has been very successful in decreasing, or even eliminating, the use of artificial tears. These "plugs" work by dereasing the loss of moisture from the eye through the tear drainage ducts, by occluding them. I have performed over 1000 of these procedures with excellent patient satisfaction. The procedure is painless, reversible, and often covered by most medical insurance, if you qualify.
